โมดูล HC-07 นี้ใช้สื่อสารแบบ Bluetooth 

โดยตัวที่ใช้เป็น Master จะมีจุดสีขาวแต้มบน IC

แต่ ตัวที่ใช้เป็น Slave จะไม่มีจุดสีขาวแต้ม

ข้อแตกต่างของ HC-07 ที่สำคัญจาก HC-05 คือ 

ใช้พลังงานน้อยกกว่า เกือบ 25% และมี Flash memory ในตัว
