The RDK X3 is an Intelligence-Native Development Board with 5Tops of edge inference capability, designed for tasks demanding computing capabilities such as multimedia tasks. It integrates seamlessly with Raspberry Pi 4B accessories via its 40-pin interface, making it a versatile tool for robot and multimodal devices development, smart home projects, and educational applications. RDK X3 is an all-in-one robotic development kit for developers to build robot prototypes, develop robotic products, and conduct rigorous performance evaluations and related verifications.

5Tops Edge Inference Capability

The RDK X3 boasts a remarkable computing power of 5Tops, driven by a dual-core Bernoulli architecture, enabling efficient and fast edge-based cognitive analyses. This high-performance processing unit is purposefully designed to expedite cognitive tasks, making it highly compatible with real-time applications like robot control, smart home automation, and intelligent monitoring systems.

Multicore Heterogeneous Architecture

The development board is equipped with a quad-core ARM® Cortex® A53 CPU, paired with a dual-core BPU (Bernoulli Processing Unit). It can significantly enhance computing power.

High-Definition Multimedia Processing

Supporting up to 4K@60fps video streams, the RDK X3 excels in multimedia applications. It provides comprehensive support for H.264 and H.265 (HEVC) encoding and decoding, making it suitable for high-quality video processing, surveillance systems, and multimedia streaming.

Extensive Interface Compatibility

The 40-pin GPIO interface is compatible with Raspberry Pi 4B, allowing developers to easily integrate a wide range of accessories and expand the board's capabilities. Additionally, the board includes USB 3.0, USB 2.0, HDMI, and Gigabit Ethernet ports, ensuring versatile connectivity options for various peripherals.
