โมดูลนี้จะคล้ายๆกับเซนเซอร์วัดการสั่นเพราะสามารถจับการสะเทือนได้ แต่ที่แตกต่างคือจะตอบสนองกับการสั่นน้อยกว่า ทำให้สามารถใช้วัดการสะเทือนที่เกิดขึ้นอย่างรุนแรงกว่าเช่น การชน การเคาะ เป็นต้น และสามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้เช็คการชนสำหรับ smart car robot
