The SDS011 employs the principle of laser scattering to detect the particle concentration between 0.3 to 10μm in the air. It comes with digital output and stable built-in fan.

Description:
The laser dust  sensor for the control of air purity. Allows to detect particles with diameter more than 0.3 μm, designed to measure PM2.5 and PM10. It has a fan that sucks the air. The system is supplied with the voltage from 4.7 V to 5.3 V, communicates via UART signal or PWM with Arduino or Raspberry Pi.

Pin Description:
NC Not connected.
1µm Measurement of particles PM2.5 from 0 to 999 µg/m3; PWM output.
5V Supply voltage: 4.7 V to 5.3 V.
25µm Measurement of particles PM10 from 0 to 999 µg/m3; PWM output.
GND The mass of the system.
RXD Receiver of UART interface (3.3 V)
TXD The transmitter of the UART interface (3.3v)
