โมดูลรับส่งข้อมูลผ่านสายไฟในบ้าน 220VAC การรับหรือส่งข้อมูลทำได้โดยต่อเข้ากับสายไฟบ้าน 220VAC จากนั้นส่งข้อมูล Serial ไปที่ Rx ของโมดูลข้อมูลที่ส่งจะถูกส่งผ่านสายไฟ ส่วนการรับข้อมูลนั้นทำได้โดยการรับค่าผ่านทาง Tx โดยตัวโมดูลนี้สามารถต่อเข่ากับสายไฟบ้านได้หลายตัวขึ้นอยู่กับการออกแบบ protocol ในการรับส่งข้อมูลผ่าน serial

โหมดการทำงาน

เมื่อกำหนดขา MODE = 1 (high)

• ข้อมูลที่ส่งสามารถส่งไปที่ Rx เพื่อส่งผ่านสายไฟบ้านได้เลย แต่ข้อมูลที่รับเข้ามาจะมี noise เข้ามาด้วยเช่นส่งข้อมูล 01 02 03 04 05 ข้อมูลที่รับได้อาจจะเป็น FF FF FF FF 01 02 03 04 05 FF FF FF ซึ่ง FF หมายถึง noise

เมื่อกำหนดขา MODE = 0 (low)

• ข้อมูลที่ส่งไปที่ Rx ไบต์แรกคือค่าของจำนวนไบต์ที่ต้องการส่ง เช่นต้องการส่งข้อมูล  01 02 03 04 05 ซึ่งมีจำนวน 5 byte ดังนั้นข้อมูลที่ต้องส่งคือ 05 01 02 03 04 05 ข้อมูลที่รับได้จะไม่มี noise ซึ่งก็คือ 05 01 02 03 04 05
