ADXL346 is a small, thin, ultra low power 3 axis accelerometer,high resolution (13 bit), the measurement range is up to 16g. The digital output data for 16 binary format,can through SPI (3 wire or 4 wire) or I2C digital interface to access.

ADXL346 is very suitable for mobile device applications. It can be applied in the tilt detection measuring static gravity acceleration, it can measure the dynamic acceleration caused by motion or impact. It has a high resolution (4 mg/LSB),can  distinguishless than 1 degrees.Inclination change.

The device provides a variety of special detection functions. Activity and activity detection by comparison acceleration on any axis and the threshold for the user to detect whether there is a movement occurring.Knock detection function can be detecte in any direction click and double-click action.The free fall detection function can detect whether the device is falling. Direction detection function can be performed at the same time for four position and six position detection, and in the direction of change to provide users with optional interrupt function, suitable for 2D or 3D applications. These functions can be independently mapped to one of the two interrupt output pins.Integrated memory management system for patent application using the 32 level FIFO buffer, it can be used to store data,so as to minimize the load of the host processor and reduce the power consumption of the whole system.

The low power consumption mode supports the intelligent power supply management based on motion, so as to make a very low power consumption threshold sensing and motion acceleration measurement.
