There is a metal ball inside the switch of this module. When standing upright, the ball touches both ends of the power wire at the same time, and it is disconnected when placed upside down, so that the upright and inverted positions produce different signals. Each module is equipped with a 3PIN DuPont line with a self-locking connector for easy and quick installation.
